LG’s new North American headquarters was envisioned as a space that would embody the company’s global identity while honoring the sacred connection to nature rooted in South Korean culture. The design drew inspiration from natural elements, relying on neutral tones and organic materials rather than bold color, creating an environment that feels timeless, calm, and deeply grounded. Subtle infusions of LG’s brand color were woven strategically throughout the interiors, reinforcing identity without overpowering the natural palette.
Planning was based on modular strategies, ensuring flexibility and efficiency across the large headquarters. Working closely with the base building architect, we optimized the floor plates to align with spatial needs while maintaining budget discipline.
As Senior Interior Designer, I led the design, developed the finish palette, directed furniture selections, and oversaw documentation—ensuring the design vision was fully realized from concept through execution.
The headquarters achieved LEED Platinum certification, a testament to LG’s commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. This project remains one of the most celebrated milestones in my career—uniting innovation, technology, and design excellence in a headquarters that reflects both the company’s global presence and its deep respect for nature.
